Hi I’m Laurie! I write about the books I love, the places I go, and the process of becoming a yoga teacher at the age of 54.

I currently split my time between a small flat in London, England and a lake house in Veyrier-du-Lac, France. I also love travelling to new places - and reading a big pile of books set there before I go.

I read a lot of books. I even wrote a book or two! Someday I might even publish a book. Until then, I write about books: excerpts, quotes, book reviews and lists. (I really like lists.)

To celebrate my 54th Birthday, I decided to take a Yoga Teacher Training course! It’s something I’ve been noodling on for, oh, I don’t know… three decades? I’ll be writing about my training and whatever comes next.

Finally, I write a monthly newsletter called I’ll Have What She’s Having… You should sign up!
