The Hamptons
A few weekends ago, I spent a dreamy girls’ weekend in The Hamptons hosted by my dear friend Jenny from The Lumpy Batter. Our idea was to recreate the Five Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand (the book, not the series) - but without sleeping with each other’s husbands. 🤣 Happy to say we achieved this goal with ease. Mostly we hung out by the pool talking and laughing.
One afternoon we went into town for some window shopping. Bridge (that’s what the cool kids call it) is impossibly chic. Had I not been with four friends, I might’ve been too intimidated to walk into a single shop. But courage in numbers and all that, I followed the others into a little boutique and found the most perfect navy cashmere shrug. It almost makes me excited about autumn, but not quite.
